STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

WON’T TURN ON

If an electric stove does not turn on, ensure the appliance is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light on gas models. If the oven is plugged in or if the pilot light is burning, it means some other part will need to be fixed. The reason for the issue might be the surface element, infinite switch, igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER DOES NOT HEAT

A burner or stove that doesn’t produce heat does not do much. Your oven won’t heat when there is a broken bake element or oven sensor. Your burner will not turn on if an element breaks or if the burner switch or the terminal block do not work. We can fix these issues in no more than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

PROGRAM ISSUES

It is reasonable to assume the control panel on a stove or oven is broken when the timer or program functions aren’t working. In this case, we are able to fix control boards for Sears, GE, LG, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands of ranges, stoves and ovens. We provide a warranty on control panels and manufacturer replacement parts we use for this stove repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You always should have a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the oven heat is too hot, it might be because of a problem with the thermostat or sensor. Our technicians can diagnose the cause of the problem and fix it. Just be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the very high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A common stove problem is times where an igniter glows but won’t light. The cause is sometimes from a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We determine whether we are able to repair these parts or if we have to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

Newer self-cleaning models of ovens can experience door issues often. The door will not open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door latch, thermostat and seal to figure out why the door does not open and then complete the repair so we can resolve the issue.
